but in Device Manager, there is an "Unknown Device" with a yellow exclamation mark next to it. The problem is it is affecting my intel HD graphics card. There has got to be a way to fix this problem. Updated and everything's okay but no difference, oh well.
OF course installation is unsuccesfull (even when I try it manually). I will never use windows update for drivers. To be sure open up that file and make sure it's the correct driver. Anyone know what this is and how fix to it?Click to expand...

Turns out it is HP's 3D DriveGuard. Win7 installed the driver for me automatically... Then this, and i ended up selecting the PCI Bus, as the driver to update with. I have no idea what this is.
That was exactly it. I found out more about this driver.
